Coastal Hotel in Cornwall

The Hotel has been owned by the same family since 1968 and has undergone a major transformation within the last 5 years taking it from being another Victorian seaside Hotel to one of the coolest places to holiday in Cornwall.

The rooms have been decorated with beachside living in mind, cool relaxing neutral shades, wood floors and combined with luxurious beds and bedding, power showers and state of the art technology make a stay very enjoyable. The best hotel rooms have balcony’s overlooking the beach, most have sea views from which to watch the breathtaking kite surfing and other extreme sports that take place in the sea and on the beach below.

The Extreme Academy is situated on the beach and hosts a wide range of fully qualified instructors and sports for you to try while on holiday in Cornwall. Equipment is also available to hire is you’d like to go it alone or already know your way around a surf board!

Eating at The Hotel offers a variety of locations depending on how you feel from casual bistro to smart dining. Jamie Oliver opened a Cornwall branch of his restaurant Fifteen just next door above the beach and those staying at the Hotel can usually be found a table in this very popular venue.

The Hotel has two pools – one outdoor, one indoor, plus a spa hot tub, a hard surface tennis court, a snooker room and a beauty therapist offering massages, facials and beauty treatments, total relaxation is just around the corner.

The Hotel & Extreme Academy have teamed up with SEAT to provide a unique service to guests –free use (subject to availability) of either an Altea XL or an Alhambra during your stay. Exploring Cornwall and driving the winding coast roads in a sporty, design-driven Altea XL or the popular 7-seat Alhambra, perfect for the active family. Each of the cars is kitted out for carrying surf boards or bikes for added adventure. Child seats are available so every member of the family can enjoy the ride.
