The Extreme Academy is located on the beautiful beach at Watergate Bay just outside Newquay. The Hotel overlooks the beach and from the sun terrace those wishing to chill can watch the wind and wave to those doing sports below.
Whether you are a complete novice or regularly enjoy sports such as kite surfing, wave ski, paddle surfing, mountain boarding or kite buggies, the Extreme Academy is the ideal place to home those skills or try something completely different. All their instructors are fully qualified, friendly, patient and very good at what they do, all activities come with a safety briefing beforehand in the new school building.
If you are just looking to hire equipment for a hour or a whole week, they have a whole range to choose from at competitive prices from wetsuits to waveskis.
There are hot showers, changing rooms and plenty of storage for your kit. The Extreme Academy web site lists up and coming events and is also a perfect spot to stay with friends, celebrate special occasions or have a healthy Stag weekend!
The Hotel has been designed with beach living in mind, relaxing coastal colours, proper showers and technology such as plasma screen TV’s, MP3 docking stations and broadband if you need it. Food is important if you’re burning lots of energy and there are four venues within the beach vicinity and Hotel to choose from including Jamie Oliver inspired Fifteen restaurant and the handy Beach Hut which provides fresh, simply cooked bistro food in an outstanding location. Lazy lunches, cosy evenings, extremely amazing hot chocolates, a great menu and sunsets to rival anywhere in the world.
