Pollaughan Farm is a family run award winning selection of self-catering cottages in Cornwall, and is all about relaxing and unwinding here on the Roseland peninsula. You can do nothing at all or be fully active, whichever you like.

At Pollaughan they go on holiday themselves (occasionally!) and are well aware that a happy and relaxed holiday goes far beyond the cottage.

The very private and tranquil location amidst the meadows really does give freedom for everyone in an idyllic, peaceful environment that is equally appealing to couples and families. The self-catering cottages are stylish, creative and thoughtfully furnished and equipped, but more than that, they feel like home. All those useful, everyday bits and pieces mean you really only need bring your clothes and the rest is here already.

The accommodation comprises of three converted barns, one cottage and the farmhouse. All the self-catering cottages have full oil-fired central heating, the barns are double-glazed and the house has an open fire and a piano! Comfort is key here with 6 ft beds (5ft in the farmhouse), made up with cotton bed linen, thick towels and plenty of them, comfy sofas, spacious interiors and really powerful showers! The kitchens contain everything you need to prepare any meal - from the children’s tea to a gourmet feast and you will find lots of useful extras like a spice rack, olive oil, dishwasher tablets etc. For lazy summer evenings, the gardens all have furniture and a barbecue.

We want you to feel welcome and relaxed from the minute you arrive and we try to make it as easy as possible for you and your family. We offer room service so that if you wish, you can enjoy a lovely home-cooked meal in your own cottage, delivered ready to serve at a time to suit you. All you need to do is pour the wine and relax!

The optional meals service (which is going down a storm) means you don´t have to lift a finger in the kitchen and there are no arguments about who is doing the driving! They offer a truly idyllic and peaceful setting where everyone can enjoy real tranquility and the very special environment there. Surrounded by 22 acres of meadows, with a wildlife lake, where you can sit and while away the hours watching swallows dipping and dragonflies buzzing, it is a timeless environment.

Should you feel the need for some activity, they have an ALL WEATHER TENNIS COURT and Tim is always keen to play if you need an opponent! Sailing and windsurfing hire and tuition are available locally, there is a squash court in Portscatho and fishing and golf can be arranged nearby.

The stunning coast path is arguably the finest in Cornwall and is a paradise for serious walkers, relaxed wanderers and birdwatchers.
